Bandsaw blades can create magic, almost. Matthias Wandel has been called a "woodworking wizard" after his designs and tips you can see on YouTube. In one of his uploads you can watch him turning a single piece of wood into a chain just by using power tools.

Summer is Here

It's May and we've already had about half a week of sunny weather. The football is set to continue with Euro 2016 hosted in France. England, both Irelands and Wales have qualified. Ian Stell - Furniture Designer

Part designer, part engineer, part artist - Ian Stell is based in New York and he creates some of the most modern furniture you've ever seen. His furniture, which is made of wood and which you can transform, is inspired by "a 16th century instrument used for copying or enlarging drawings - the pantograph".

What makes Stell's work unique is how you can transform his furniture designs with "a sequence of multiple configurations and compositions". To see a GIF of how the furniture transforms, click here - wooden table design.

Stell's work is being shown as part of New York Design Week 2016. His ‘pantograph’ series of furniture will be at the Patrick Parrish Gallery.
